I first saw Jessica in January 2013 after having suffered 3 miscarriages in the space of 18 months.   As an older mum running out of time, I was looking for anything that might help me ‘keep hold of’ a pregnancy. Jessica was recommended by a friend of a friend.  I wasn’t sure what to expect from Acupuncture intervention but I was willing to try anything to help us to a successful pregnancy.
I was instantly set at ease by Jessica.  Her manner and the way she conducts her sessions made me feel comfortable and she gave me hope whilst not making any promises.  Her consultations were thorough, she went through all aspects of my health and lifestyle, not just those necessarily connected with conceiving.  Over the next few months I saw Jessica on a weekly or fortnightly basis.  I found the sessions relaxing and calming.  I have a very hectic work and home life and the Acupuncture helped me to escape these on a regular basis.  Within four months I was pregnant again. And very scared.  This was exactly what we wanted but we were very aware of everything that could go wrong.  Jessica was amazing and very supportive and my pregnancy progressed successfully.  In early new year, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl, something I was not sure I would ever achieve again.  We can’t thank Jessica enough for what she has helped enable us to achieve.  Our beautiful daughter will always be thanks, in part at least, to Jessica and her magic needles.

Jess is warm and reassuring and listens to me. She sees the link between the physical and emotional changes during the peri-menopause and treats the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Improvement has been steady and I feel good that I am doing something positive for my health.

Meeting Jess has been quite transformational for my life.  I was highly stressed when I met Jess and through the acupuncture and through talking during our sessions, I have learnt so much in order to control the stress and beat it to be at a consistently more acceptable level.  Recognising that sleep, rest and making myself more important are all critical to my wellbeing have made some significant changes to my daily life - being horizontal is my new stress buster too if I feel it's getting too much.  I would 100% recommend Jess - taking that time out for yourself is really important and what a great way to do it!
